For years Hit City Records known voice over tracks was its CEO's Lu Hefner who made the infamous Hit City whisper very known to its fans who listened in over the years. But as of late were now being accustom to a new voice over with a very sexy tone. People have been wondering as of late who is that woman on Hit City's tracks nowadays. As many people already know Rick Ross's Maybach Music has its own voice that is very well known and later the voice behind it was introduced, so now giving proper credit where its due we introduce you to Hit City's new voice "Adriana Luna" a young aspiring makeup artist who's YouTube Channel stands strong at over 2 million views which features tutorials on various makeup styles for women. Her creative looks and insight are a must watch for women looking for a quick look or something complicated to create for there night out. Luna also happens to be the voiceover for many various known and growing producers all over the net so its not hard to miss she is a voice to remember. Luna is featured on Hit City's Video Intro's as well as over most tracks you hear each of its artist release. In recent news Hit City Artist Lil Young took to Facebook to publicly put together a idea well more like a statement to Men And women around the world with a recent Ad. "I thought this was very creative to do see a new ad campaign lately has been using popular search terms to show how the world really feels about women emphasizing the extent of global gender inequality, UN Women–an arm of the U.N. that focuses on women’s issues by creating a powerful advertising campaign that uses data collected from Google on the most popular search terms". So As it turns out, the most popular Google queries are indicative of entrenched sexist attitudes that still persist today so Young decided to give a twist on it not just to show what the world thinks of men today because most of us are not good men and some are still children mentally but he thought he would just speak out and say we all are not what the world thinks. These are actual Google results as of today we all can look up searching on the same search results women used on needs & should's and these are the logical ones that pop up first. Young did not make this to make a statement to stand up for men but just to say that we both should be treated equal so lets combine the needs and should's and respect each other because "we both need to be loved and wanted as well...men need/should be loved women need/should be wanted"...

For the last 4 years Lu Hefner has been infamous for his creative getup's on Halloween he was a fashionable fresh Freddy Kruger, he was a black Bruce Wayne Equipped with Cat woman, he dressed up as Hancock the Black superhero Will Smith played and he was at angel in the ghetto equipped with a sexy ass devil on his side. Now we take it to this year where it decided to take on the challenge of dressing as a Famous rapper "Cam'ron". Cam’ron donned nothing but pink to promote his 1.2 million-selling 2002 album Come Home With Me, even going so far as to purchase a custom bubble-gum pink Range Rover. Fans all over the world took note. The seed was planted, a trend born, but like a true leader, Cam’ron quickly moved on. After all, by that point, he had an empire to run. Cam'ron and Lu Hefner have been spotted at numerous events over the years were they flicked it up for fans over Twitter, Facebook and even going back to Myspace. These two share a mutual respect for each other as rap artist, Cam'ron being already a established rap artist and Lu Hefner a growing rap artist looking to be established. Hefner decided this year to dress as Cam'ron at the Halloween Masquerade event which was hosted by Angela Simmons With Lu Hefner as a special guest. You Can Build A Shaq Out Of Bricks In This City To House All Of The Young Kids Future With Education

As you may or may not know Lu Hefner & Shaquille O'Neil are no stranger to each other. As many might remember or not these two have been in business with each other not just as business but more like family. They had first linked up back in October 2011 at the Original Soupman store located on 55th and 8th ave in New York City where both became endorsed by the company, so i guess you can say there always at the same place at the same time. In recent news these two happened to link up for a second time but now for a more positive cause the kids. Lu Hefner came to the scene to show support for Shaq where he gave props to his hometown of Newark, N.J., in his latest Reebok commercial. The clip mainly focuses on the NBA center with shots of him visiting his old school in Brick City. Redman also makes an appearance later on and plays referee as Shaq plays a game of hoops with a group of students. Hefner came to show his support for Newark along side Jamal Hall (Dynomyte Films) & Principal Mills high school principal of Malcolm X Shabazz High School where it just so happens a mural of of Shaq's likeness is painted on one of the side walls of the high school. The mural stands tall maybe about 20 feet high or more, this masterpiece was painted by Mark Paul Deren more commonly known as MADSTEEZ, an artist and designer based in California. His visual style has attracted clients such as Nike, Inc., Target Corporation, Red Bull, Boost Mobile, Honda, Boosted, Volkswagen, MCA Records, Interscope Records, Stüssy, Evisu, Ben Sherman, Capita Snowboards, Armada Skis, Rusty, Salomon, Lemonade Magazine, Wallin Surfboards, ActivEmpire, ActionSports Group, So Sweet Records, 411VM, Palace 5ive, and Bl!SSS Magazine.As an artist, he has held solo exhibitions in New York City, Los Angeles, and Tokyo. Lu Hefner Pays Tribute to His Panamanian heritage at Panamanian Parade In New York!!

If you or may not know Lu Hefner is of Panamanian decent even though he is only half that does not stop him from paying tribute to his nationality. Hefner took himself to Franklin Ave. in Brooklyn where this parade took place October 12th. Brooklyn has been changing over the years with new chic and trendy shops popping up here and there. One thing that seems to never change is the annual Panamanian parade where marching bands come up from parts of the USA and from Panama. A visit to Franklin Ave. wouldn't be the same without stopping at Kelso’s for some delicious Panamanian food to enjoy. The loud banging of the drumline and the blaring trumpets called everyone within hearing distance to come out and celebrate Panamanian pride and culture. The Panamanian Veterans Marching Band started the parade off dressed in their sharp blue and white uniforms and soon followed by community groups. It’s always great to see the tradition and culture passed on from generation to generation. Ballet Folklorico had the cutest kids dressed in their polleras while the adult ladies showed off the intricate dresses. Then the crowd was treated to El Hogar Banda from Panama. They were very good and were soon followed by a group dancing to typical Panamanian music and a float with the beauty queen in a highly decorated costume. The best part of the parade started when the marching band from Maryland made their way up the parade route followed colorful costumes of the Ballet Folklorico Panamena. Arguably the best band to appear was the Banda Christana with their skillful baton twirlers and energetic drummers and bugle corp. They crowd loved them. Closing out the parade was the local pride of Brooklyn. The Panamanian Drum and Bugle Corp. It was tough to say which one was better since they were both excellent and well rehearsed. The end of the parade route was by a local school were the parade VIPs were on stage and the different bands performed for them. That was a lot of fun. As I made my way towards Eastern Parkway, the aroma of good food was all over the place. Everyone there was ready for the after parade party festivities…the good food and good music and good times. Hefner meet and greeted not only veterans from his country but big name politicians from there as well who took a liking to his very respectable manner in which he greeted them. Lu Hefner Has A Funny Friend But There Is No Joke When It Comes To There Work Ethic

As you already know Lu Hefner is not just known for his music and currently growing buzz on social networking but also for having Hollywood friends. In this edition of Hefner's blog we would look to introduce you to yet another one of Hefner's Hollywood friends "Casey Jost". His career consists of many different roles he is a head writer for TruTV's "Impractical Jokers" an American hidden camera-practical joke reality television series that premiered on TruTV on December 15, 2011. It follows the four members of the comedy troupe The Tenderloins as they coerce one another into doing public pranks while being filmed by hidden cameras and just like Lu Hefner is he his also a native to Staten Island with a growing career in the music field as well. Casey is a singer/Lead Guitarist of a rock band called Les Vinyl also residing from Staten Island, New York. Their sound is upbeat but they are cool about it. They Don't try too hard and they don't complicate things. The standard two guitars, bass, and drums set up, is a platform for songwriting that is familiar while still being at times unconventional Front-man and lead guitarist Casey Jost applies clever wordplay over distinctive guitar parts. The loose nature of their live performance offers the audience a break from the over-produced world of pop but the familiarity of likable hooks and tones. Casey is also the younger brother to Colin Jost one of the head writers for SNL. Colin has written for Saturday Night Live (SNL) since he was 22 years old and was a Writing Supervisor from 2009-2012. He often collaborates with fellow SNL writer Rob Klein. As a stand up comedian, Colin has appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon as well as on TBS and HBO. He was selected as a "New Face" at the Montreal Just For Laughs festival in 2009, and has since appeared several times at the Chicago Just For Laughs festival (2011, 2012) and the Montreal festival (2010, 2012). Jost has published three "Shouts and Murmurs" pieces in The New Yorker magazine, in addition to writing for The New York Times Magazine, the Huffington Post, the Staten Island Advance and Radar and now his younger brother has stepped into the spotlight with the same funny yet witty attitude and is looking to bring a new level of comedy to TV. Hefner and Casey share a great friendship today as upcoming artists and as growing faces in Hollywood as Staten Island natives so who knows might catch them on a song or in the next big box office film who knows!! A Staten Island Summer With Lu Hefner!

As u already know Lu Hefner is no stranger to the big screen as you already have seen him premier in his first movie "Living With No Regrets" starring a all star cast of actors in the Hip Hop world. The movie was a success with red carpet several times in different locations all over New Jersey but now we have the pleasure to say Lu Hefner is now starring in yet again another film. A Saturday Night Live writer is stepping out in front of the camera for an upcoming movie, and no, it's not John Mulaney. A writer on the show since 2005, and Seth Myers' current co-head writer, Colin Jost will both write and appear in this upcoming film , Lorne Michaels will produce the movie, which  will be a comedy because of its SNL association and the farce that is Staten Island. The produced comedy will be titled "Staten Island Summer," and will be about a couple of buddies who spend the summer after high school as lifeguards while figuring out what to do with their lives, the film reportedly has added "Private Practice" actress Kate Walsh and comedian Jim Gaffigan to its cast. Ashley Greene of "Twilight" fame previously was announced as starring in the film. Ms. Greene plays the daughter of a mobster and member of the pool club where pals Danny ("The Good Wife's" Graham Phillips) and Frank ("The Inbetweeners'" Zack Pearlman) work.Ms. Walsh stars as Danny's mother, while Gaffigan plays his father, according to The Hollywood Reporter.John DeLuca of Disney TV's summer hit "Teen Beach Movie" also has joined the cast as a lifeguard, THR.com reports. "Staten Island Summer" began filming at the Great Kills Swim Club in Staten Island just a few days ago, with many club members being tapped as extras, according to Frank Gibbons, president of the club's board of directors. The film will star almost the whole cast of SNL with stars from the show such as Paul Brittain, Mike O Brien, Cecily Strong, & more with guest appearances from Hassan Johnson, Big pussy from sopranos Vincent Pastore, Wu-Tangs Method Man himself and of course Hit City's Own Lu Hefner. This film is already looking to be pure genius with a killer cast of A-List celebs from Staten Island so hey i guess if you were not there well i guess your not A-List. This is Lu Hefner's second movie appearance who knows whats next in the world of Hollywood for Hit City's Lu Hefner. Maybe a Oscar Nominee for a huge upcoming role or maybe even a Hit City Records Movie? Charles Pascal "CharlieBeatz" Born May 4th 1989 was raised in Brooklyn,New York Coming From a Trinidad background he has over 4 years experience behind building beats professionally from his home and at countless studios he has visited. Charlie has numerous influences for music listening to great artists such as Jay-Z, Camron, Eazy E and  influences for producers listening to great producers such as Heatmakers, Just blaze Dj Yella, Kanye West, J Dilla, Lex Luger, Harry Fraud, and Arab Muzik. Lu Hefner Says 'I really admire someone with a very strong work ethic this kid was very patient, persistent on getting my attention and once i listened to his material it doesn't take me long to figure out if someone has talent and a future in this industry and from my expertise he is going to have the long gevity to carry us into the future one of the things i loved was him saying he don't want to make music that's out now and thinking like that will keep me and my artists in the right direction and helping us continue to be trendsetters." Turner is best known for playing the main character, Caine "Kaydee" Lawson, in the 1993 film Menace II Society. He also has made guest appearances on television shows such as Chicago Hope and Hangin' with Mr. Cooper and has made several cameos in music videos throughout the 90s. Menace II Society is a 1993 drama/hood film and the directorial debut of twin brothers Allen and Albert Hughes. Menace II Society is set in South Central Los Angeles and follows the life of a hoodlum named Caine Lawson and his close friends. The film gained notoriety for its scenes of violence, profanity, and drug-related content. Menace II Society was critically acclaimed for its gritty portrayal of urban violence and its powerful underlying messages. If dont know the Mcflys Range around 8,000 to almost 15,000 grand a pair! These legendary shoes were shown over a decade ago from a very famous film "Back To The Future 2"
worn by Actor  Michael J. Fox. The iconic film came out more than two decades ago. But the story -- and the shoes -- remains fresh in the minds of those who grew up in the 1990s. How else do you explain the frenetic response to their release? Mere hours after the company announced they would place 1,500 Nike Mags for sale on eBay, with proceeds to benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, the first pair got auctioned off for $37,500. HipHopTmz reports the pricey shoes Lu Hefner is wearing now who for the record, was just one 6 years old when the film hit theaters back in 1989. With a price point that high, we don't imagine many casual fans of McFly will pony up the cash for the shoes.
