First released in the mid ’90s, the Reebok Kamikaze II is a retro take on one of their most iconic on-court shoes. The Kamikze was worn by and designed for Shawn Kemp of the Seattle Supersonics during the 1995-1996 season in which Seattle fell to the Bulls in the 1996 NBA Finals. The Kamikaze is best known for the zig-zag pattern featured on the shoe’s upper which leads to the creative colorways we’ll be seeing from these kicks during February and throughout 2013. The Reebok Kamikaze II is clearly on the up following a roll of Reebok Retro basketball releases. As the Kamikaze was the signature shoe of Shawn Kemp, a Seattle (Super) Sonics legend, it’s only appropriate to have Upcoming Legends wear this shoe. Endorsements aint just for basketball players anymore as you can see in the photos. I guess you can now say Lu Hefner is now apart of a prestigious organization of individuals to wear this shoe , among many great artists in this industry such as Jay-Z, Dj Khaled, Rick Ross,Tyga, & even Rihanna. This shoe represents greatness and what better way to define greatness than to have the Hip Hop' Industries Pioneers represent Shawn Kemp today. Lu Hefner is a constantly growing brand in itself the rising star had linked various clothing line deals overtime to upcoming sneaker endorsements so at this point whats next for Staten Island's native or better question what hasn't he already done yet? , stay tune to find out!
