"Promoting Positive Values through Arts & Entertainment" is the value proposition of NYC Arts Cypher. It is an organzation started and located in Staten Island, so what better artist to bring in the mix then Staten Island's own Lu Hefner.
Although the crowd did not come out in the masses, Lu Hefner still wanted to support his hometown youth. Lu Hefner stated: "I wanted to perform for the kids who don't have the big venues to go showcase their talent. I want to start a trend for other artists to give back and force these bigger places to let people perform."
